CLAIM OF CARRIER:
1. Claim of the Pacific Fruit Express Company (hereinafter
referred to as the carrier) that its assignment of car repair forces
in 1'ght repair yard it maintains at Po--atello, Idaho cr, a staggered
work week basis being essential to its operations is clearly permissible under applicable rules and ag:eements with employes concerned represented by the Brotherhood Railway Carmen of America
-Ra'lway Employes' Department, AFL-CIO (hereinafter referred to
as the organization).
2. That accordingly claims which will be included in attachments to carrier's submission and wherein said organization requests
that certain of its members at Pocatello receive pay at time and onehalf wages for service performed on Saturdays and Sundays falling
within the duration of such assignment are without merit.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
Carrier in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is
now in receipt of a request from the parties that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
