SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY (Pacific Lines)
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1-That the Carrier's use of a Foreman to perform Machinists'
work on Diesel Engine 7931 at Sacramento General Shops, on July
17, 1959 violated the current agreement.
2-That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate Machinist I. Covich (hereinafter referred to as claimant), in the amount of four (4) hours at the straight time rate of
pay for July 17, 1959.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted tc the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
