PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 8, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Carmen)
MISSOURI-KANSAS-TEXAS RAILROAD CO. OF TEXAS
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the work of rebuilding
and/or repairing freight car doors was improperly assigned to the
Cole Construction Company on or about, and subsequent to, April 7,
1959.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to compensate
furloughed Carmen in Group 5 holding seniority at the Denison Car
Shop at the straight time rate for an equal cumber of the total man
hours consumed by employes of the Cole Construction Company in
performing the above referred to work.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
