SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 45, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Carmen)
ST. LOUIS SOUTHWESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
were violated when the Carrier called in laid off Carman P. E. Duffey
to work for one day at Texarkansas, Texas, on November 21, 1958.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be required to compensate
Carman J. H. Fuqua in the amount of eight (8) hours at the rate of
time and one-half for November 21, 1958.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitte to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
