CLINCHFIELD RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the Current Agreement, the Carrier improperly
assigned other than machinists to remove single line cable from
Derrick Car and install new cable.
2. That accordingly, Carrier be ordered to compensate Machinists Briscoe Deaton, Welsey Arrowood, Harvey Tapp and George
Thomas, hereinafter known as the Claimant, for six (6) hours
at pro-rata rate and three (3) hours at time and one-half for work
performed South of Station
at
Marion, N. C., on July 16, 1959.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was not held, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
