DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
(a) That Communication Maintainer J. King employed in the
Electric Transmission and
Communication Department
was unjustly
damaged and the provisions of the current agreement, were violated
when the Carrier elected to use employes of the Southern New England Telephone Company to perform work on the carrier's telephone
equipment in the General Office Building at New Haven, Connecticut.
(b) That accordingly the carrier be ordered to compensate the
employe so damaged as follows:
J. King - 4 hours straight time.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was not held, and the Division is
now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
