DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement Carmen V. A. Whitten and

Sikes, regularly assigned wrecking crew members were improperly compensated for wrecking service in connection with the
rerailment of Diesel Engine No. 112 and three empty cars on August
4, 1960.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate these.employes at the time and one-half rate for their waiting
time between 8:30 P. M. August 4, to 6:00 A. M. on August 5, 1960.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form. Parties to said dispute waived
right of appearance at hearing thereon, and the Division is now in receipt
Qf a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
