PARTIES TO DISPUTE

RAILROAD DIVISION, TRANSPORT WORKERS UNION OF

AMERICA, A. F. of L. - C. I. O.

THE PITTSBURGH & LAKE ERIE RAILROAD COMPANY AND

THE LAKE ERIE & EASTERN RAILROAD COMPANY

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: On bids now being posted at McKees Rocks, Pa., by Mr. Walters is putting the following phrase, "Other work when necessary" and the organization feels that this is incorrect. The organization knows that if an employe bids a job and he has no work to perform on his regular bid job he must perform whatever work is assigned to him, but the organization feels that when there is work to be performed on the bid job that work should be done by the employe so bidding said job.

STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form. Parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
