CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That under the current agreement the Carrier on or about September 20, 1960, improperly contracted out to the Texas Rail and Joint Co., Fort Worth, Texas, the work of fabricating 100 crossing signal protection barricades from used track rail furnished by Carrier.


2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Blacksmiths Lee R. Putt, 120 hours at $2.638 per hour, Clarence Oakland, 120 hours at $2.638 per hour, Art Pickron, 100 hours at $2.698 per hour, Blacksmith Helpers Kamiel Dupre, 120 hours at $2.434 per hour, George Lambrecht, 100 hours at $2.446 per hour, Louis Ricketts, 100 hours at $2.446 per hour, account the aforesaid violation.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
