THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier violated the controlling agreement on November 28 and 29, and December 1 and 2, 1960, when it failed to apply
the provisions of Rule 2-A-5 in the handling of vacancies occurring in
machinists' positions on those dates.
2. That the Carrier be required to compensate the designated
Claimants at the Grade "E" rate, as follows:
F. J. Corbett, Machinist - 8 hrs, for November 28, 1960.
F. J. Corbett, Machinist - 8 hrs. for November 29, 1960.
G. P. Hauserman, Machinist - 8 hrs. for December 1, 1960.
J. O. Schwalb, Machinist - 8 hrs. for December 2, 1960.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in
receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
