DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: J. Taylor was on vacation creating a vacancy and A. Pahulick, Carman, was used as a helper for five (5) straight days. Since this vacancy was known the organization is asking that W. Palko, furloughed be paid the helpers rate of pay for Sept. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 1962.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
