MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company violated Article V,
Paragraph 1(a) of the August 21, 1954 Agreement when the
Chief Personnel Officer, Mr. B. W. Smith, failed to decline that
part of the claim dated May 21st through May 31st, 1961, inclusive.
2. That the Vacation Agreement, particularly Article 12(a) and the
current agreement, Rule 9, were violated when Carman M. F.
Reed was denied payment for meals and lodging while at Laredo, Texas from May 21st through June 9th, 1961, inclusive.
3. That accordingly, the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company be
ordered to compensate Carman M. F. Reed for meals and lodging while filling vacation vacancy from May 21st through June
9th, 1961, inclusive at Laredo, Texas in the amount of $91.40.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
