DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier violated the current agreement rules when it
permitted supervisors to perform Machinists' work in connection with the removal of a broken coil spring and installation
of a new spring in power truck frame of Diesel 427.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Machinists R. Saelens and Ira Wilson in the amount of one call or
four (4) hours at the straight time rate of pay, these two men
were first out for overtime and were available had they been
called.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division
is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
