DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That under the provisions of the current agreement (6) Machinists have been improperly denied additional compensation, in the amount of (88) hours to be additionally, and equally, divided among the, account management on February 8 and or 12, 1963, improperly assigned work coming under contract rules of the Claimant Machinists, to others not holding seniority for the performance of said work. Specific work being the boring of 44 pairs of new car wheels, the turning (on lathe) of used axles for wheel fit, and journals, and the mounting (by wheel press) of said new wheels on second hand axles, ready for service. Claimants are: H. W. Vann, W. G. Worrell, Earl Wright, J. J. Wall, H. T. Judkins and P. L. Thompson.


2. That the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate the aforementioned six (6) Machinists, by equally dividing 88 hours pro rata rate among them account violation of their service rights, on above dates.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.




    Claim dismissed.
