SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 26, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Machinists)
1. The Central of Georgia Railway Company violated the Agreement when it removed from the January 1, 1964 seniority roster the following Machinists, Machinist Helpers, and Apprentices holding seniority rights at Cedartown, Ga. and Columbus, Ga., listed as follows:
FINDINGS: The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the whole record and all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein.
Petitioner complains that Carrier omitted the names of machinists, machinist helpers and machinist apprentices from the 1964 seniority roster for Cedartown and Columbus, Georgia. This is substantially the same issue that we considered in Award 5036, which also concerned the same agreement, contentions and circumstances. In line with our award in that case, we will not require Carrier to continue to post seniority rosters at locations such as Cedartown and Columbus where shop craft employes are no longer employed. Carrier will be directed, however, to furnish the Organization with an accurate up-todate seniority roster listing all employes, who have not been removed from Carrier's service by resignation, death, retirement or rules of the Agreement.
