READING COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That Reading Company was in violation of the current agree-
ment when not paying furloughed car repairers, Boyd 0. Young and
Donald L. Triviets holiday pay for Christmas, December 26, 1960.
2. That accordingly, the Reading Company be ordered to make
furloughed car repairers Boyd 0. Young and Donald L. Triviets
whole by paying them 8 hours pay for Christmas Day of 1960, observed December 26, 1960.
FINDINGS: The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the
whole record and all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this
dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the
Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute
involved herein.
Parties to said dispute waived right of appearance at hearing thereon.
This dispute involves the same issues and agreement as in Award 5061,
and for the reasons stated in that award, we will sustain the claim.
AWARD
Claim sustained.
