The Second Division consisted of the regular members and in
addition Referee Paul C. Dugan when award was rendered.
PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Sheet Metal Workers)
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current controlling agreement Sheet Metal
Workers Walter J. Stout, Otto H. Schreifer, Antone P. Lieberman,
Wayne L. Tidwall, Roman D. Allison, Roland C. Huxtable and
Raymon J. Christensen, Omaha Shops, were improperly dealt with
when they were deprived of holiday pay on Washington's Birth-
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to:
Compensate them each for one day's pay at their
established rate.
FINDINGS: The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the
whole record and all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this
dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the
Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the
dispute involved herein.
Parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon.
The issues involved herein are similar to the issues and agreements
involved in Award 5092, and for the reasons stated in that award, we will
sustain this claim.
