DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, hereinafter referred to as the Carrier, violated the scope and Article IX (Blacksmith's Classification of Work Rule) of the current Agreement,
as follows:
(a) When on September 16, 17, 18 and 19, 1963 Electrician F. W. McDowell, Jr. and Machinist-Welder Armando
Pompilii were assigned to modify armature racks in the
Electric Shop at Wilmington, Delaware Locomotive Shop.
(b) When on September 20, 23 and 24, 1963 Boilermaker C. J. Decker, T. M. Wishowski, Jr. and Boiler-makerWelder J. S. Dougherty were assigned to modify armature racks in the Electric Shop at Wilmington, Delaware
Locomotive Shop.
(c) When on October 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 1963
Boilermaker T. M. Wishowski, Jr. and Boilermaker-Welder
C. D. Fry were assigned to modify armature racks in the
Electric Shop at Wilmington, Delaware Locomotive Shop.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate the
Blacksmith Craft Employes, as follows:
Blacksmith J. J. Scholato 56 hours
Blacksmith-welder R. E. Gardner 112 hours
Blacksmith H. C. Massey 56 hours
Blacksmith C. M. Riley 24 hours
pay each at the applicable straight time rate.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organi-
zation in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the Employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
