      Dispute: Claim of Employes:


            1. That the Carrier violated the provisions of the current agreement, specifically Rule 71, and Attachment No. 1 contained in Public Law 91-226, when they arbitrarily assigned the machinist craft to perform electricians work a t the Western Avenue Diesel Locomotive Shop.


            2. That the following claimants be compensated for the amount of hours specified, at the given rate, for being denied their work on the enumerated dates.


` W. DiGioia, 8 hours at $4.24 per hour for violations on May
-J 18, 19, 20, 26, 27, and 28, 1970.

            R. Glatczek, 7 & ~ hours at $4.24 per hour for violations on May 19, 20, 26, 27 and 28, 1970.


            F. Judkins, 2 & 4 hours at $4.24 per hour for violations on May 26 and June 1, 10, & il, 1970.


            W. Leitl, 3 hours at $4.24 per hour for violations on May 29, June 1, 2, 10, & 11, 1970.


            J. Kusner, 3 & 2 hours at $4.24 per hour for violations on May 29, 1970.


            D. Prosser, 4 hours at $4.24 per hour for violations on May 27 and 29, 1970.


            J. Frank, 6 & 2 hours a t $4.24 per hour'. for violations on June 1, 3, 20, and July 4, 7, 10 & 15, 1970.


            E. Misiak, 6 & ~ hours at $4.24 per hour for viola tions on June 20 and July 4, 7, 10 & 15, 1970.

                3. That accordingly, the Carrier shall be ordered to cease in assigning other Shop Crafts to perform electrical work.


          Statement:


          The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
