Dispute : Claim of Em2loyes
1. That the following employees, Electricians, were deprived
of the double time rate of pay worked on Sunday, April 30,
1972, when they were called to do supervisory installation
at SS #S11.
R. Lowis - eight hours
E. Muller - eight hours
H. Biddle - eight hours
2. That the above mentioned employees be compensated at the
-. 1 double time rate of pay instead of the time and a half
rate they received for work performed on that day.
Findings:
The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the whole
record and all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in
this dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning
- of the Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over
the dispute involved herein:
Parties to said dispute waived right of appearance at hearing
thereon.
The issue in this dispute is identical with the issue considered
in Award 6648. The claim will be denied for the reasons expressed in
that Award.
