Dispute: Claim of EmQloves:
1. That the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company violated
the controlling agreement, particularly Rule 87 and Memorandum
of Agreement of February 14, 1944, at South Louisville Shops,
Louisville, Kentucky when they improperly assigned Boilermakers
the duty of welding 4" x 7" plate metal on eight (8) water
coolers in Shop No. 1 on June 20, 1973.
2. That
accordingly, the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company
be ordered to compensate
Sheet Metal
Worker D. L. Bass at South
Louisville Shops, Louisville, Kentucky, for four (4) hours at
the pro rata rate of pay for
such violation.
Statement:
The-above
question
was submitted to the Second
Division of
the
National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization
in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
