      Dispute: Claim of Employes:


            1. That under the current Agreement, Carman C. F. Richardson, Macon, Georgia, was improperly suspended from service from October 16 through October 20, 1972.


            2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to compensate Carman C. F. Richardson for all time lost from October 16 through October 20, 1972.

      Findings:


- The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the whole record
      and all the evidence, finds that:


      The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.


      This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein.


        Parties. to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon.


      Claimant was charged with failing to properly inspect Car No. SOU-500788. After investigation and hearing, Claimant was given a five day actual suspension.


      A review of the record in this disputercompels the conclusion that there was substantive evidence of probative value to support Carrier's action. Under the circumstances, there is no basis for sustaining this claim.
