1. The Carrier violated the provisions of the current agreement
when they improperly assigned other than Sheet Metal Workers,
the connecting and disconnecting of steam, air and water pipes
in connection with the steam pipe siphoning of the sludge from
the blowdown tank to a railroad tank car, a t St. Cloud Shops,
St. Cloud, Minnesota, on September 19, 1973.
That accordingly the Carrier be required to compensate Sheet
Metal Workers M. Nordquist and I). Reber each in the amount
of eight (8) hours pay at the pro rata rate.

Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the
National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization
in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
