1. On October 1.4, 1.974 at Morris Park Shops, the Long
Island Rail Road in violation of the Controlling
Agreement, assigned car repairman welder and two car
repairmen to perform work of the Machinist Craft.
2. That accordingly, the Long Island Rail Road be ordered
to compensate Machinist welder I1. Smith and Machinists
E. Bundscho and W. Birner, eight (8) hours at machinists
pro rata rate and one-half.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the
National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization
in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
