( Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company
Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company violated the current
working agreement, particularly Rule 11, when Carrier forced
Electrician E. L. Stroman to change shifts and refused to pay the
overtime rate for his shift change on August 31, 197+.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate
Electrician E. L. Stroman four (4) hours at his straight time rate
of pay.
Findings:
The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the whole record and
all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this
dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the
Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 193+.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute
involved herein.
Parties to said dispute waived right of appearance at hearing thereon.
Except as to the identity of the Claimant, this dispute is the same as
that in Award No- 7291, and the Award will be the same.
