Dispute: Claim of Employes:

1. That the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company violated the controlling

Agreement, particularly Rules 21., 26(a) and 97, at its Sedalia Shops,

Sedalia, Missouri on April 24, 25, 28, 29, and April 30, 1975,

when they improperly assigned Machinist craft the duties of

cleaning strainers, changing water pump, renewing pipes, unstop,pinf,,

pipes and fixing oil and water leaks on steam generators in

Power house.

2. That accordingly the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company be ordered to compensate Sheet Metal `,Worker C. L. Norman eight (8) hours on each of the following days, April 24, 25, 28, 29, and April 30, 1675 at the .punitive rate of pay- for such violations.

Findings: .

The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the whole record and a:11 the evidence, finds that:

The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the _rreaninS of the Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1_931+.

This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein.

Parties to said dispute waived right of appearance at hearing thereon.

This claim is companion to a similar claim filed by Petitioner upon Carrier and .previously considered by this Board in Award No. 7618. The issue in this dispute is identical with the issue considered in Award No. 7618. The instant claim is denied for the same reasons stated in Award No. 7618.
