1. Coach Cleaner Albert Reed was unjustly assessed 30 days suspension
and was made to serve an additional 15 days which had been previously
deferred on January 11,
1978.
Coach Cleaner Albert Reed was erroneously charged with poor attendance
which allegedly became excessive when he was absent on December
6,
1977
and was late for work on December

That the Chicago and i~?orth Western Transportation Company be ordered
to compensate Coach Cleaner Albert Reed for all time lost

and make him whole for any loss of benefits he may have suffered
during the time he was unjustly suspended, as per the provisions of

Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
