Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That in violation of the current Agreement, Messrs. J. Biggerstaff
and D. Droog, Laborers, Huron, South Dakota, were denied
stationary Engineer's rate of pay while assigned to perform
stationary Engineer's duties.
2. That, accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to compensate Mr. J.
Biggerstaff the difference between Laborer's and Stationary
Engineer's rate of pay for two hours per day, five days per
week. Mr. Droog shall be compensated for the difference between
Laborers and Stationary Engineer's rate of pay for two hours
per day, two days per week. The difference in rates shall be paid
from November 20, 1980 and continuing until settled.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte
form, the hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
