Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That under the current agreement the Consolidated Rail Corporation
(Conrail) improperly assigned others to set poles on the former New York
Central Railroad property which historically has been assigned to and
done by the Communications Employes and is generally recognized as
electricians' work at Crawfordsville, Indiana and vicinity.
2. That accordingly, the Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail) should be
ordered to additionally compensate Communication Linemen J. T. Marsee,
D. Gross, J. R. Paddick, and E. D. Hammond with sixteen (16) hours pay
at the applicable Lineman's overtime rate account of the violation
of the agreement.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form,
hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
