Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Consolidated Rail Corporation violated the current agreement.,
especially Rule 2-A-4(b) when it failed to allow Electrician M. Hooley,
Avon Indiana Diesel Terminal, an additional 2.5 hours straight time pay
at the applicable Electricians' rate due him under Rule 2-A-4(b) when
Carrier assigned him to perform work not comprehended in his regular
assignment on June 1, 1979, particularly to locating troubles on Locomotive
2611 that activated the ground relay.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier should be ordered to pay Electrician M.
Hooley an additional 2.5 hours pay at rate of $8.70 per hour due him
under Rule 2-A-4(b) in order to make him whole.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form,
hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
