Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That under the current agreement of May 1, 1979, as amended, in particular,
Rules 2-A-1, 5-E-1(b), the Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail)
unjustly deprived Electrician K. L. Gates of holiday work on Friday,
July 4, 1980 at its Enola Diesel Shop, Enola, Pennsylvania.
2. That accordingly, the Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail) be ordered
to compensate Electrician K. L. Gates eight (8) hours at the pro rata
rate of pay for July 4, 1980.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form,
hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
