Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That under the current agreement effective September 1, 1975 the National
Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) improperly assigned Electricians
P. D. Steinbuch and W. Hagan to perform work on passenger cars while
their bulletin positions provided that the aforementioned Claimants were
assigned to maintenance of facility work. Such improper assignment made
September 9, 1980 at Beech Grove, Indiana.
2. That accordingly, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak)
should be ordered to assign only maintenance of facility work to the
above mentioned Claimants as long as they hold bulletined positions as
Maintenance of Facility Electricians.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form,
hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
