Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company violated the current
Agreement effective September 1, 1943, as subsequently revised and amended,
in particular Rules 1(a) and 21(d) when on March 24, 1981, Electrician
J. L. Smith was not allowed to work his assignment as electrician at
the Radnor Shop.
2. That accordingly, the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company be ordered
to compensate Electrician J. L. Smith for eight (8) hours at the straight
time rate of pay.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form,
hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
