Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company
violated the current agreement when Carman Edward Borkowski was
improperly assigned to operate an electric crane in the Freight
Car Shop at Milwaukee Shops from January 3, 1979 to January 19,
1979. The work claimed should have been properly assigned to electrical
workers Chester Kosmatka, Zigmund J. Zaremba, Allan Schmidt, Armando
Rodriguez, and Daniel J. Elliott.
2. That the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company
be ordered to compensate- the Claimants at the Electric Crane Operator's
rate at time and one-half for eight hours per day from January 3
thru January 19, 1979. The total amount claimed is, therefore,
$1,180.40 to be divided equally among the Claimants.
Statement:
The above question. was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization. in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
