Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Company violated the
current agreement when, on April 23, and 24, 1981 an employe other than a
crane operator with rights on the Locomotive Shop Seniority roster was
improperly assigned to perform the operation of cranes in the Locomotive
Shop.
2. That the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Company violated the
current agreement when they failed to recall Crane Operator Edward G.
Gu1as to service on April 23 and 24, 1981.
3. That the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Company compensate
Crane Operator Edward G. Gu1as Account No. 1503 for 40 hours at the straight
time rate of pay, account of the violation.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division o f the
National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization
in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in
receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
