1. That the Illinois Central 
Gulf 
Railroad violated the provisions
 
of 
the applicable Schedule "A" Agreement, dated April 1, 1935,
 
as currently amended and in effect between the Illinois Central
 
Gulf 
Railroad and the International Association of Machinists
 
& Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, when they failed to compensate 165
 
Machinists for 45 minutes pay for services rendered by each of the
 
claimants during the 14-day pay period ending January 11, 1981.
2.
Statement:
That accordingly, the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad be required
to compensate each 
of 
the claimants set forth and identified
in the Mrtployees' original claim and grievance dated February
23, 1981, and identified as' Enployees' Exhibit "A", attached hereto,
45 minutes pay at the Machinists' pro rata rate, which represents
$ 7. 94.
The above question was submitted to the Second Division 
of 
the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in
ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in
receipt 
of 
a request from the Carrier that the case be withdrawn.
