Dispute: Claim of Employes:
 
1. That under the current and controlling agreement Service Attendant
  
J._ T. Ransom, I .D. No. 111281, was unjustly 
dismissed from 
the
  
service of the Louisville and-Nashville Railroad Company on
  
October 6, 1981, after a formal investigation was held on September
  
24, 1981.
 
2. That accordingly, Service Attendant J. T. Ransom, be restored to
  
service at the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company, South
  
Louisville Shops, Louisville, Kentucky, compensated for all lost
  
time, vacation, health and welfare, hospital, life and dental
  
insurance be paid effective October 6, 1981, when Mr. Ransom was
  
removed from service and the payment of 6% interest rate be
  
added thereto.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex
parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the Employes that the case be withdrawn.
