Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company violated the controlling
agreement, particularly Rule 97 and Letter of Understanding of May 1, 1940,
when they arbitrarily assigned a machinist the duties of drilling and
removing portion of cap screw and tapping 3/8" standard thread in rear
water cooling radiator header for Engine 3042, July 22, 1980, in Annual
House, Pike Avenue Diesel Shops, North Little Rock Arkansas.
2. That accordingly, the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company be ordered
to compensate Sheet Metal Worker T. M. Campbell in the amount of two
hours (2') at the pro rata rate of pay, July 22, 1980.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
