Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1. That the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company violated the
controlling Agreement when Carmen R. D. Urban, J. L. Hale, W. G.
Brown, J. T. Brown, L. L. Ti11is and R. F. Graham were not called to
perform Carmen's work at Orlando, Florida beginning November 8, 1977
and ending December 3, 1977.
2. That the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company violated the time limit
provisions of the Agreement when the Master Mechanic failed to deny
the Local Chairman's claim dated January 7, 1978 within sixty (60)
days.
3. That accordingly, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company be ordered
to compensate the named Carmen in the amoupt of eight (8) hours each
at the time and one-half rate on the following dates: R. D. Urban,
November 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30, 1977; J. L. Hales, November
10, 11, 17, 18, 25 and December 1 and 2, 1977; W. G. Brown, November
12, 1977; J. T. Brown, November 19, 1977; L. L. Ti11is, November 26,
1977; and R. F. Graham, December 3, 1977.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to Organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the Carrier that the case be withdrawn.
