That the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company violated the controlling
agreement when the Atlanta Wrecker Crew
No.
3 was not compensated seventeen
(17) hours and necessary travel time from Atlanta, Georgia to Catawba, South
Carolina and return. This incident occurred January 24 and 25, 1978.
That accordingly, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company be ordered to
compensate the No. 3 Wrecking Crew, namely, Carman M.M. Parks, W.A. Pate, J.0.
King, H. R. Godsey, G. D. Parkey, L.B. Martin and R. T. McEbtyre seventeen (17)
hours for work performed and necessary travel time at the applicable rate of
pay.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to Organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the Carrier that the case be withdrawn.
