Dispute: Claim of Employes:
1.(a) That the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company improperly
withheld Carman S. M. LaFontaine from service on October 4, 5, 6, 7
and 8, 1982 account of being disqualified for service due to an
injured finger.
(b) That accordingly, the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company
should be ordered to compensate Carman S. M. LaFontaine the forty
(40) hours lost pay for October 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, 1982 at the
straight time rate of pay.
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the Carrier that the case be withdrawn.
