Dispute: Claim of Employes:
"1) That the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company violated
Article V of the August 21, 1954 Agreement when the Manager of Labor
Relations, John Raaz, failed to give written reasons for denial
of General Chairman Murphy's appeal dated November 12, 1982.
2) Carman John F. Gillaume, Green Bay, Wisconsin, was deprived of
wages to which he is contractually entitled in the amount of
5 1/2 hours pay at time and one-half rate, account the Chicago
and North Western Transportation Company called a mechanic-in
charge to perform Carmen's work at derailment at Combined Locks,
Wisconsin, on August 11, 1982.
3) That the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company be ordered
to compensated Carman John F. Gillaume in the amount of 5 1/2
hours at the time and one-half rate of pay."
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to Organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the Organization that the case be withdrawn.
