"1) Carmam Joe Matteo and E. W. Witt were deprived of work and wages
to which they were entitled when the Chicago and North Western
Transportation Company assigned other than Carmen to inspect
Business Cars #401 and #404, at Fremont, Nebraska, on February
18, 1983.
2) That the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company be
ordered to compensate Carmen Joe Matteo and E. W. Witt each five
and four-tenths (5 4/10) hours pay at the overtime rate of pay,
account violation of February 18, 1983 at Fremont, Nebraska."
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National
Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to Organization in ex parte
form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the Organization that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
