"1. Carman Joe Matteo was deprived of work and wages to which he was entitled when the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company assigned other than Carmen to perform necessary emergency road work at Fremont, Nebraska on August 2 and 3, 1983.

2. That the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company be

ordered to compensate Carman Joe Matteo for five and four-tenths

(5.4) hours pay at the time and one-half rate for August 2, and 3,

1984. "

Statement:

The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to Organization in. ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the Organization that the case be withdrawn.
