Dispute: Claim of Employes:
"1. That under the current and controlling Agreement, Laborer J. G.
Smith, was unjustly dismissed from the service of the Seaboard
System Railroad, Hamlet, NC, on June 25, 1984, after a formal
investigation was held on May 16 and May 23, 1984.
2. Accordingly, Laborer Smith be restored to his assignment
at Hamlet Diesel Shop, Hamlet, NC, with all seniority rights
unimpaired, vacation, health and welfare benefits, hospital,
life and dental insurance premiums be paid and compensated
for all lost time, effective June 25, 1984, and the payment
of 10% interest rate be added thereto."
Statement:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the
National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization
in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the parties that the<case be withdrawn.
