STATEMENT OF CLAIM:

1. Case No. 86 - Claim on behalf of Traveling Crane Operator R. S. Boyd for eight (8) hours' straight time pay for the dates of January 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and 31, 1990, alleging that the Carrier violated the Agreement because it used electricians to operate the crane while the regular crane operator was furloughed.

2. Case No. 86-1 - Claim on behalf of Traveling Crane Operator R. S. Boyd for eight (8) hours' straight time pay for the dates of February 23, 26, 27, 28 and March 1, 2, 1990, alleging that the Carrier violated the Agreement because it used electricians to operate the crane while the regular crane operator was furloughed.

FINDINGS:

The Second Division of the Adjustment Board upon the whole record and all the evidence, finds that:

The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this dispute are respectively carrier and employes within the meaning of the Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.

This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein.



The issue in this claim is the same as that which the Board addressed. in Second Division Award 12371. We find here and for the same reasons as we did in Award 12371, that there is no basis for the claim.
