"lt is claimed by the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers that: The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific and the Chicago, Rock Island and Gulf Railways and the officials of the American Railway Express Company have not the right arbitrarily to discontinue a monthly allowance of $27.60 to the agent at Waurika, Oklahoma, for transferring through express matter from train to train of the employing road as well as to trains of foreign lines having joint passenger facilities with Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific and Chicago, Rock Island and Gulf Railways, and still insist that the employee from whom the monthly allowance is taken must continue to perform the same work as before. It is also claimed by the Committee for the employees that the work not having been taken o8 of the agent at the time the monthly allowance was discontinued, but on the contrary, being instructed to continue to perform this transfer work, he should be paid the allowance retroactively from December 28, 1925."
The dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party.
No hearing thereon has been had and under date of August 10, 1937, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of the case from further consideration, which request is hereby granted.
