SOUTHEASTERN EXPRESS COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
"Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated Agreement rules when it nominally
abolished three messenger positions on Southern Railway Trains 36-36,
Atlanta-Salisbury Route, salary $169.20 per month, and assigned per
formance of their duties to employees in other seniority districts
and others not covered by the agreement, and
(2) Said positions shall be re-established and former incumbents
restored thereto and reimbursed for all wage losses sustained retroactive to September 20, 1937."
FINDINGS:
The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds that:
The dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board
ex parte by complainant party.
No hearing has been had, and, under date of July 6, 1938, the bomplainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the
Third Division withdrawing this case.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
