STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that-
(1) The Carrier has violated and continues to violate the working and wage agreements between it and the Brotherhood, when it
tails and refuses to classify, rate, bulletin and assign work of handling express shipments at Meridian, Mississippi, in accordance with
the rules and rates incorporated in said agreements, and,
(2) The Carrier be required to restore such work to the scope
and operations of said agreements and that positions properly classified and rated in accordance with properly established and agreedupon basic rates of pay be bulletined and assigned in accordance with
the agreement rules."
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds that:
The dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board
ex parte by complainant party.
No hearing has been had, and under date of July 6, 1938, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the
Third Division withdrawing this case.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
