FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND
STATION EMPLOYES



STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that-

(1) The Carrier has violated and continues to violate the working and wage agreements between it and the Brotherhood, when it failed and refused to classify, rate, bulletin and assign work of assisting truck drivers to load, unload and otherwise handle express shipments at Columbia, S. C., in accordance with the rules and rates of said agreements, and


(2) The Carrier be required to apply the rules and rates of said agreements to such work by classifying, rating, bulletining and assigning such work as Truck Helpers' positions in accordance with Agreement rules."


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds that:

The dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party.

No hearing has been had, and, under date of July 6, 1935, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case.



Claim dismissed.
